The tee shot is intimidating on the opening hole, but there is more room on the fairway than there appears to be. Whilst long hitters could get to the green, it’s very much a risk and reward shot that penalises you if played poorly. The shot to play is over the bunker on the right of the fairway and let the ball feed down to the middle.
