Join Bath Golf Club

If you are looking for a new Golf Club, we welcome all enthusiastic golfers, male or female, old or young, whether you have friends as members or are new to the area. Whilst a thriving members' club, membership levels are maintained to ensure the facilities are not overly crowded. Currently the club's has limited availability in some categories, please contact us for more information. If we cannot offer you a place at this time, we can place you on our waiting list, giving priority as membership becomes available, and would anticipate accepting new applications at our renewal on 1st April 2025. The Club has a full calendar of competitions and matches for those who enjoy competitive golf, regular roll-ups and flourishing Women's, Men's and Senior Men sections, with an equal emphasis on participation and fun, as well as ability.

Fees and Subscription Rates

Our subscriptions for 2025-26 are shown below. The subscription year starts on 1st April and you wish to join mid-season, fees are at a pro rata rate.

Additional Annual Fees

Bar Levy: £50.00 An annual fee which is added to the card and must be spent over the membership year.
Proximity Card: £10.00
Golf Union Fees: Men £23.25, Ladies £23.25, Under 18 £12.25

#1 half the Joining Fee is payable on joining the Academy Plus category, with the balance paid on becoming a Full member.

*Family defined as mother, father or grandparent. Priority is given to Junior applications who have family already at the club.

#2 The difference between Joining Fees will apply should membership be upgraded to the Full category.

Age-related memberships refer to age at 1st April.

Bath University Student Membership

If you are studying in Bath, membership of Bath Golf Club is an ideal way to maintain your handicap, play competitive golf and make new friends. University Students do not pay joining fees and have a membership period to coincide with the Academic year. Currently University membership is full and we are inviting applications for the new Academic year starting from Sept/Oct 2025.

Priority is given for applications received from existing member wishing to re-join. All applications must be a member of an Affiliated Club and hold a WHS handicap.

Please note that joining the University Golf Society does not provide any membership playing rights and to play the course a separate Bath GC membership must be taken out.
